You are supposed to clean vertically on one side and horizontally on the other so you can see which side the streaks are on...ask me if I've ever tried it :lol:
We live in a post WWII brick bunker building. I love it, but the windows are steel casement windows and I'd love to replace them if it weren't for the historical designation and the cost. |
If you are using paper towels, only use the white ones. I find the ones with prints streak, guess it is the dyes they use in the designs.
Also, you are not supposed to clean them when the sun is shining on them. |

good old white vinegar and blk/white newspaper...

Water, ammonia and dishwashing liquid with no hand conditioners in it (Dawn). Dry with newspaper or lint free cloths. A school custodian shared this with me.
