Vinegar on the inside and a bucket full of bubbles, big old car sponge and hose for the outside!

You are supposed to clean vertically on one side and horizontally on the other so you can see which side the streaks are on...ask me if I've ever tried it :lol:

We live in a post WWII brick bunker building. I love it, but the windows are steel casement windows and I'd love to replace them if it weren't for the historical designation and the cost.

If you are using paper towels, only use the white ones. I find the ones with prints streak, guess it is the dyes they use in the designs.
Also, you are not supposed to clean them when the sun is shining on them.

I've heard that too. I need to wash my windows too. I don't mind the inside, but I think I'll try to get my boys to do the outside. LOL. One to can hope anyway.

Cool! I've always loved the idea of living in a building that was once something else! I think it would be really neat to live in a building that was once a school or a mill. I see things on revitalization projects like that all the time.

Have used this for years in many different states with many different soils on my windows.

I have my DH do them :lol: :lol: :lol:

Water, ammonia and dishwashing liquid with no hand conditioners in it (Dawn). Dry with newspaper or lint free cloths. A school custodian shared this with me.
