ok, I took some pictures of things in my house, then was ready to post and saw this for the Christmas decorations. I have a 20 ft tree, takes 2 days to put up from the top down, (I have live in help that does this)one advantage of living overseas:)I also collect nativities-have them from all over-Indonesia, Mongolia, China, Philippines, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Vatican to name a few. picture of a table runner I did, and a kitchen towel. the last is a pic of smocking on a dress for my granddaughter

Soo Pretty You Have snow?

Your house looks beautiful! However, all I could think of was how long it will take to pack it all away again! Every year I put out less and less...

I'm sure your family must really appreciate your doing all that for them. We are WAY behind you, having just bought the tree yesterday. It's standing naked in the livingroom, waiting to be decorated. I have to finish sewing all the costumes for the church Christmas program first! The house does smell LOVELY now tho, thanks to the tree.

I'm with you! I tell everyone, "If I put it up I have to take it down." No more outside decs, and much less inside. The only one who sees it is me and the dogs. Then on Christmas Day when the family comes. Too much work for just one day.

I like to keep things very simple...here is the extent of my decorating:>) LOL!

quilt batting comes in real handy when you need snow...lol

very simple colors...when we lived in our log cabin I used to use postal brown paper tied with plain old twine to wrap all my gifts

I adore nativity sets!

So beautiful. Thanks for sharing these wonderful decorations. Mine are minimal, at best, for this year. I am expecting a new grandbaby any minute and then I will have to be on the road and gone for maybe as long as 6 weeks. I do wish I could haul out all of my decorations, but.... Maybe next year? So I will just enjoy yours and all those out that are displayed out side and the ones at my kids homes.
