LET'S TALK!

Many things are discussed on our list,
And quilting is only one.
With friends we've made we want to talk
About everything under the sun.
So it's not just our quilts we write about
But the rest of our world as well --
Our families, big things that happen,
Little things that are fun to tell.
Here's a place to let off a little steam
About things that have not gone right,
To celebrate our triumphs,
To sympathize with another's plight.
Oh sure -- the quilt topics are important --
Information and explanations abound,
But it's the feeling of belonging and friendship
That keeps us all coming round.

Thank you for the lovely poem and you hit it just right. It is the nicest board with all wonderful quilters with the talents that far exceed any other. And the knowledge they have and they are so happy to help us little "beginners". I am most thankful for all of them.

Great Poem! Did you write it? I think of this quilt forum as kind of a quilting bee. Most of us don't get together physically for a quilting-bee but this is the next best thing. We do on here what we would if we got together for one.
