Yesterday we woke up to lots of snow...Cola loves it...I took this picture from my sewing room...reminded me of the summer when she sits and looks out into Lake Simcoe..

You know I couldn't remember and just went and got her "papers"..you know the one that says "I am a princess, you better be nice to me"...under sire..it says Rolex Von Samremo and under Dam it says Cora of Houseof OFG...I have no idea what this means and if you can tell me that would be cool...my brother owns the mom Cora...and I helped deliver this litter..Cora was struggling a little while giving birth,,,my brother called me and I spent the next 9 hours with her while she had 6 pooches..needless to say we fell in love and ended up with one..

I often wonder that myself...mine is probably wondering when the next dog is going to come around the corner so she can act like the bossy b...she is on our street..she thinks she owns every stick and tree around...

Love your fur baby. She is a handsome girl. (I know that handsome refers to men, but Cola is still handsome).

I have those papers too. ;)

Your papers are probably CKC. Papers are confusing to go through on the internet. LOL.... needless to say the lines on Rolex vom Sanremo trace back to Wienerau. Good stock.... my boy has some Wienerau in him too

As for your girl being a bossy B on her street... she comes by it naturally. Her lines are decent for working. She probably has a fair amount of drive. Does she go crazy for her 'toy'?

I love your dog. I grew up with Shepherds and we had one until she got hip dysplasia and had to be put down as she couldn't get around anymore. Now that we live in the city and are renting we can't have one. All of ours came from German bloodlines and Dad used to do Shutzhund training with them. It is very similar to what police dogs go through with tracking, obedience and protection except that they are not allowed to bite during the protection part. We went to a lot of trials growing up. I was never afraid of anything when I was out walking one of our dogs!

Mine was a German import. I love him. I trained my boy in schutzhund, but never got the opportunity to even get a BH. Solicitors are the only ones that get to see his bark and hold. :-D Life just sort of got in the way. :(

Needless to say, everyone in the neighborhood is scared of him and with the kids we never have to worry about strangers in the yard. ;)

Cola wants to play all the time...as long as she controls the ball..she has a favourite soccer ball..old leather..and there could be lots of stuff in the backyard..that's the one she wants..she will come to the sliding door in the kitchen and stand there with it in her mouth..and wonder why I am not out there with her..she drives me nuts...
I wonder if you know other dogs in this line ...wondering if any others have EPI like mine does...she is the only one we know about in this line with this condition (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency)...does not produe enzymes..needs meds for the rest of her life...costs me an arm and a leg...
I know what you mean about feeling good about her being in the backyard with the kids for safety...I am never scared when I am home alone...even the pizza delivery guy looks scared when I open the door...she probably might run and hide in the event of something happening..she is only ferocious with dogs...

I do not know of any shepherds with EPI. Jager has some food allergies, mostly grains and sugars, but other than that, we are lucky.

Territory is an issue with Jager, but I always attributed that to him being an intact male. He is definitely not dog friendly. He likes my other dog and tolerates my dads dog once a year, other than that dogs are a "No GO"
