Flowers are something we have decided we enjoy and for the past year my husband makes sure I have a nice vase full on the table. Life is short and flowers make me happy.

I agree that you need to treat yourself sometimes. My sister buys herself flowers weekly at Kroger. The woman in charge has gotten to know her and always saves her the nicest ones.
My middle son sends me gorgeous bouquets. One year my cat died. She was all white and he sent me a huge bouquet of all white flowers. I was beyond touched.

After 5 inches of snow over the weekend, I bought myself a bunch of Daffodils at the grocery store yesterday. They are dropping already but we did enjoy them for a day!
