Please share the ratio of your spray and perhaps the name of the Cedar Oil. Do you think Pine Sol would work the same.

Edited to add: this website has fascinating info about this approach. https://organicdailypost.com/cedar-o...epellent-2018/

You know those little white flies, gnats or whatever they are called. The ones that scatter when you disturb the grass either by the sprinkler or simply walking around the yard.

I need ideas, suggestions or possible solutions. Keep in mind we have 3 dogs and a cat that wander around the yard at any given time. So little or no harmful chemicals if possible.

Goggling for me brought up how to get rid of white flies on plants such as tomatoes, melon plants or houseplants.

Have you noticed that the Starlings showed up at the same time? I would check with my County Agent before resorting to chemicals. Check out Planet Natural.com for what they have to say about the situation.

Just to throw in my two cents.... down south we cut the grass and let the blades decay in place. The bugs don't stay. Something about the decay process makes them go to everyone else's lawn is what the bug man told me. No chemicals, no bags of grass to deal with. Hope that works in your part of the world, too.
