I was up for a while last night so I came here and noticed there were 5 people in Live Chat around 3am EST !
Don't you sleep? lol
I thought about joining in but I can't carry on a conversation at that time of night... :)

I'm up all times of night and see there are people on there too I have looked but did not chat with them. I wouldn't know where to begin to talk to anyone there. I don't want to interfere with them.

Parts of Australia are 14-17 hours ahead of USA, and I'm not sure about England or other parts of the world that are members here.

That's what is so nice. We always have instant answers day or night no matter where we live!

As far as I know, it's "open" - but there are "regulars" on/in chat - so one can feel like an outsider/intruder when one drops in - sort of like tuning in to a soap opera for the first time - takes a while to figure out who - what - why. And sometimes there are three or four "conversations" going on at once - took me a while to figure out how to follow that.

You won't be interferring with them...just 'walk into the room' and see what's going on. I'm sure someone will say hello to you!

They are not private private conversation. . . if people want that they can make their own room right there in the chat room feature.

Try it you might like it.

Don't hesitate to jump in even just to say Hello - you might be surprised one "chat" night you will feel comfortable to bring up a subject and get great responses.

try it! I did when I forst joined here and it was a laugh a minute, for me anyway. My typing isn't that good, my brain is a little slower than I'd like at times, but everyone treated me so nicely. They just told me to overlook misspelled words, they would, and they would figure it out. There were times I got to laughing so much at my mistakes I had to stop or wet my pants.

Sometimes when there's several conversations going on at once it gets very confusing. I've "popped" in and said hi once in awhile. But to answer your question about sleeping---not so much. I sleep sporatically--a few hours here and there due to achy joints and needing a potty. Once I wake up it's usually several hours before I can go to sleep again. But also there's so many different time zones that to some our 3am is mid afternoon.

I've dropped in a time or two, but can't figure out what the conversation is about so I quickly exit.
