I would have to say that it was a legal thriller/mystery. The only other thing I remember about the book was that it was red. Sadly I've done a color search at the library looking at all mysteries and thrillers that were red. lol Ok I was desperate to find the author. :lol:

It turns out that a surprising number of legal thrillers have red or black & red book covers.

There are plenty of alcoholic lawyer books out there, too.

You've no idea whether this was set on the East Coast, West Coast, in the South or anything like that?

I'm intrigued. I'll keep poking around.

Lisanne ~ thanks for helping me poke around. I vaguely remember mountains, I believe a body was found in the mountains. It's surprising the number of alcoholic lawyer books on the market...lol.
