Vaseline is the "go to" product for Jennifer Anniston. At least that is what ET said recently. I also inherited the "no wrinkle" gene, but I use a product called Super Lube by Merle Norman cosmetics. A little dab does the job for me.

My aunt used Vaseline, and her skin looked about 30 years younger than she was (when she was in her 80s and 90s)! I just don't like the feel of it.....

For those of you who don't use soap, do you mean you just rinse your face with water before using olive oil?

I've used Merle Norman for years and love it. Takes a very little dab.

I have hand eczema and find commercial products work for awhile, but then stop working and a lot of the products are very expensive. So, I did an internet search for homemade eczema hand cream and found some really simple recipes. I ordered the ingredients online from Mountain Rose Herbs and the box arrived yesterday. I will be able to make a whole lot of lotion for very little cost. I know there are face cream recipes online, too.

Has anyone used coconut oil?

Try any of the creams/lotions made by CeraVe. My dermatologist recommended it because it has skin lipids in it. I've just lately been able to find it at Walmart and Walgreens. My daughter who has very sensitive skin has been able to use it on her face. It is actually different and wonderful.

ditto ........ I don't like the grease-slick feel!
To say the least of it rubbing onto the bed linens.

I use St. Ives Collagen & Elastin which I get at Walmart or Rite Aid. I use it every morning and have for as long as I can remember - at least 25 years.

Google Beautypedia. It tells you what products to use for your skin type, lists of products from cheap to expensive and products that have ingredients that are good and ones to avoid. Also, tells you what products are a waste of money.
