Looking for wool roving in Maine or NH or online
Hi,
Hoping someone can help me. I've discovered needle felting and love it. I've made a snowman and a little owl, so far. Now, I need more supplies. Does anyone know of a good place to buy more wool roving? I'm mostly interested in natural colors right now. Would like to try a penguin next! Thank you, lots2do |
Knitpicks.com has some: https://www.knitpicks.com/Yarns/Unsp...__L300129.html
I think Paton yarns also have it but their website is down right now. yarninspirations.com |
There's a lot of it on eBay. Here's a link to just one listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-Colors-Me...item35d02ddc83 Dharma Trading also carries wool roving: http://www.dharmatrading.com/tools/c...ol-roving.html and JoAnn Fabrics online has some too: http://www.joann.com/martha-stewart-.../11116530.html Amazon also has listings for wool roving. |
Halcyon Yarn Store in Maine They have a web site.
|
Try primative gatherings online, they specialize in wools and also have a great magazine that comes out quartley if yu really want to get into trouble.
|
Fiber Studio in Henniker (stop at Quilted Threads if you haven't been there) and Badger
Brook Farm in Gilmanton. Both in NH |
Thank you all! Looking forward to getting more supplies!

Don't know what roving is, but the Dorr Mill Store in NH carries a large line of wool fabrics. Hope this helps.
