I don't know which one she used. I was just answering about the ease of gromets.this is a purse I made out of several patterns to make my own style. I used grommets in the top also.

Somewhat difficult. I think it would be hard for a beginner. I would probably rate it 'intermediate'

http://katicupcake.bigcartel.com/category/bag-patterns The grommets were on hand at the quilt shop. They 'snapped' together, however, it was a little hard going thru the outside fabric and liner. I see you can order them online also.
