Does anyone have a digital magazine subscription? Would like to know want's your opinion on digital magazines verses regular magazines?

I am interested also as I have always like to hold the magazine in my hands - How long can you keep them in the digital format ?

Bernina started doing their Through the Needle magazine online a few issues ago. I like it and if there is a project I really want to do I can print that portion off. I also get Fons and Porter digital because I have a hard copy subscription but have not tried reading it. I have so many hard copy magazines that I have no space to store so digital seems the way to go.

I get an Australian quilt mag online - it's fine. I can access every article and pattern instructions and print them when I wish

I to wondered about this as I have so many magazines stacked up that I just quit them but it is also nice to see some of the new stuff

I enjoy them, but I forget I have them. I have to post a shortcut on my desktop to remind me that they're there.

I spend so much time here on the QB I am afraid I wouldn't get anything done if I subscribed to magazines on line. My idea of an evening of relaxation is to sit in my recliner with a stack of quilt magazines while my husband watches his boring tv shows.

I like my magazines.. I take them with me and read them while Im waiting for my daughter at the bus stop..

Unfortunately the ones I like are not in digital format - Camp Chase Gazette, Piecework, Renaissance. The ones that Barnes & Noble list just don't interest me.

I like to get them in the mail. I receive six (I think)LOL Since I still have the dreaded dail-up I think it would take too much time to download a whole magazine. Besides it's the only mail I can look forward too. My problem with subscriptions is when the magazine has added CDs or Patterns in the "in store" copies I feel like I'm missing something! Even though you pay much less to subscribe I think you should still get the extras!
