Simon must have been looking in our bedroom window for this one. My husband wakes up when the cat just looks at him! I guess the cat has him well trained!

Oh, what a great memory! I recently lost my kitty that would be on my shoulder just like that when I awoke and pat my face!! No baseball bat though!

we had a similar cat, altho to give him his due he'd been a self feeder who became diabetic and could only be fed after a shot so....he first tried waking DH up with a claw in the nose at about 5 am..when he realized that went over like a lead balloon...he went to a wicker trash basket lined with a grocery sack that was out of reach, a couple of good stirs and his breakfast and shot was on the way
