98 here and hot wind..can I trade for some snow?

It's May 3 and snowing pretty good here in southern Missouri...My poor roses just bloomed with a dozen or more buds on the stems.. Huge flakes. Was just celebrating the breathtaking beauty of the newly leafed out Ozarks....Oh well...could be worse...Heart goes out to those facing the fires....

oh poor you - those of you getting snow. I'm in the Northeast and just pray we don't get anymore snow. I'm sick of snow, and so ready for flowers and greenery!!

LOL everyone on the other side of the mountain (in CO) received snow and all we received was cold over on the western slope. But we did have a freeze warning going on over here, Hubs and the other drivers had a heckva time over Vail pass to get to Denver the past couple of days. Gotta go out and uncover plants from their warm tents .. LOL

My DD lives in NW Arkansas. She sent a pic this morning of her car covered in snow. It was beautiful in the trees and on top of houses. Looked like the drives and roads were clear.

I hope it stays your way, we have had way too much this year/spring but they say Saturday snow with a 60 degree temp so maybe we won't know it's snowing.

We're in Northern MN and the snow missed us completely. Was 28 degrees this AM though. We still have 24 inches of ice on some of the lakes up here though so we're nowhere near "Spring".

Finally quit snowing mid day. The barn owner to the barn where my horse stays is on her way back from wintering in Az. She has been having temps in the !00's and she is in for a muck mess.
Yep, the winter coats are back on, Ugh...

California just got the news that the snowpack is 17% below normal. Drought here we come.

Not snowing in Houston, but when it's 44 degrees on May 3, you KNOW something is screwy! Two more days of cold weather, then it will probably be back to the 80's! <G> Is it Christmas yet?
