I read this today and love it. I think it can apply to us and our quilting:

We've done ourselves a disfavor to say, "You can be a jack of all things and a master of none." You can be a master of every thing you do. Every thing you do may not be a masterpiece, understand that then do the best you can with what you've got.

I love her and yes, I've finally reached that "if I am happy, great" point in my life. When I turned 43, my philosophy matured to...for 23 years I was the good daughter and the next 20 good wife and mom...the rest of my life is mine! Of course, the others are not being neglected by any stretch;)!
