The photo was not taken by me. It is a view from the main road coming into my housing area, just slightly outside of the city. It's a beautiful view and the Poinsettias run for almost half a mile. I took the one showing where they are growing. It's very lovely to see as I drive into town.

That is a gorgeous drive. I would rather be a passenger so I could look.

Oh my goodness - you're taking me home for Christmas with your pictures! I'm taking a guess that you're on or near Pleasant Valley Road? While I live in Virginia now I was raised in Simi Valley and my dear mother and father still live there today :) In fact, I will be there in January :)

Yes, just at the bottom of the Conejo Grade between 1KOaks and Pleasant Valley R. Camarillo Springs, Section closest to the freeway off ramps. Some of my former young neighbors grew up in Simi. I call them "The Fabulous Baker Boys. Twins no less and truly are fabulous folks. One of their wives was just over this week with their two little boys. Small world for sure. When did you escape CA??

What a beautiful picture for the season. Poinsettias are my most favorite flowers. I've never seen them except in pots at Christmas time in Walmart. :) Those are absolutely gorgeous! Merry Christmas to everyone on the board!

Those are beautiful. I have only seen “real” poinsettia plants once and they are my very favorite!
You are so lucky to live where you can see them anytime!!!
