The best way to trap mice: My cousin worked in a bakery. You can imagine it was nearly impossible to eliminate all the tiny crumbs and bits of flour and dough that would attract mice. He said they set out the traditional snap traps baited with a dab of peanut butter, but the trick is to place the end with the bait snugly against a wall or vertical surface, because they tend to travel along a wall and will unintentionally end up walking across the end of the trap. Snap! One less mouse.

I used to live in the country and had mice all the time. I had to throw a lot of fabric away because of mice. I put Dcon out and solved the problem. I have no pets or small children though.

Yuck! I hate mice! We get them in our house. I use sticky traps. One winter a sticky trap in the garage was totally covered in mice. There must have been at least a dozen. If you can catch them in the garage they won't make it into the house. I know a lot of people don't want any creatures to suffer but I say if you don't stay outside you will pay the price of admission.
