Today I stretched and pinned two quilt tops to be quilted. Tonight I was missing my cat. My search for her revealed her "new" comfy sleeping place.

Cats are experts at "comfy". She is SOOOO pretty! Sure glad she didn't go missing in a hard to find place.
Something about cats and quilting just go together. Or, THEY think so, anyhow! :D

She looks at you like this is mine!!! Very cute!

Cats are never missing when there is a new soft place to sleep and our quilts are THE place to be.

I have made one, I repeat one quilt for myself. It is made with blocks from a swap. It is made with 'fall' colors-golds, red, browns (you get the picture) and I have a yellow tabby..... No matter where that quilt is that is where we find the cat. For awhile I had it on a bed with another softer blanket on top of it. Did the cat sleep on the softer blanket---not on your life! Since I moved the softer blanket and the quilt is exposed you can't get her off of the quilt. It sure must be a warm place to sleep!

I love your quilt inspector! The look on her face in the first picture is hilarious. I don't think I could quilt without my quilt inspectors. LOL!!

Cats and quilts - they go together like bread and butter!

sueisallaboutquilts 09-23-2010 04:07 AM

Awwww, she's so precious!!! And I agree with what everyone has said, being outnumbered in my household by felines :D:D

She looks like our Buttons. Nice Calico.

Oh my gosh, I thought you were going to say you sandwiched her between the quilt parts.

She sure is comfy right where she is. Cute.

She does look like she is smiling...one of those "kitty getting away with murder" smiles! :D

Don't know what I'd do without a kitty to help me, it seems there is a multitude of us that feel that way. Lucky thing too, as the furballs don't care what we think, they are gonna sleep where they want!

Out of 4 cats, I have one that does that and gets onto anything he can, that is anything but, walking on the ceiling, he does get put into a dog crate for a little time out, after several times in there he gets the picture. I have no patience nor humor.

She reminds me of my very first cat DH got me right after we were married 31 yrs ago.... I still miss that cat...

Too cute!! A couple of years ago my aunt's cat went missing, and then she heard a thumping sound coming from her clothes dryer. She thought she might have tossed in a pair of tennis shoes. You guessed it!!! The cat had gotten in the dryer!!!!! Don't worry.....she wasn't in there for very long. My aunt has a great sense of humor. Her comment was, "Well, at least she came out nice and fluffy!!"
