My 11 year old grandson, Nic, is mildly autistic. He struggled in early years of school until he was tested. Now he is in special ed, but is doing extremely well and is very good at math and computers. He also loves to sing and is in the school choir. These kids are so very special in their own way.....they have such an innocence about them. I saw him today and he is so loving that it just melts your heart. Zac, Nic and other children with special needs have so much to teach us, don't they?

As our eldest grandson has Aspergers I understand. Zach's letter brought tears to my eyes and a big lump to my throat.
