Me,too. That's really great.

Glenda m 12-16-2010 08:23 AM

This happened where my friend, Liz, lives in Canada. She said she didn't know the food court had such good accostics! LOL I get teary every time I watch this. We had a 'flash mob' in Oklahoma City, but caught it on the news and with the interviews and news report, they didn't show much of it.

ljs317 12-16-2010 09:56 AM

tears tears tears of joy

kathome 12-16-2010 05:19 PM

Can't thank you enough for posting this. I don't want to offend any of my fellow quilters here on the board, however, I am tired of worrying about that.

These songs are a part of our Christian holiday which EACH PERSON SHOPPING IN THAT MALL was in some way celebrating. (or at least spending their hard earned money on).

Thanks for posting. I'm going to get my tissue now.

Margie 12-16-2010 06:03 PM

I love it too, there are several different ones out like that. LOVE THEM.

jprusky 12-16-2010 08:36 PM

I have watched this so many times also. My computer should be worn out by now! I was told this originated in
Welland, Ontario, Canada.

My daughter and granddaughters were part of the one in Oklahoma City Mall last Sat. My son-in-law filmed it. it was amazing, The food court was packed with everyone singing and even the two upper stories were packed. It is being done all around the country. Thanks. Merry Christmas everyone

IBQUILTIN 12-16-2010 09:21 PM

And we shall not forget the reason for the season. What a beautiful tribute to Christmas. no matter what they say about being "Politically" correct. That touched a lot of people

Is there any way you could post this? Channel Nine News (Kelly Ogle) said they would have it on line at their site, but all we ever found was the interview-news report. Please, Please, Please Or maybe tell Channel 9 he has it.

I am totally ignorant about how to do that but I will try to get someone to do it for me. It's awful to have to get your grandkids to do something technical for you.

kathome 12-17-2010 10:14 AM

Ha ha ha ha . If I didn't have my kids do the technical stuff for me I wouldn't have a computer, wouldn't be able to watch a DVD (still need help on that sometimes) use my cell phone (still need help on that sometimes). The other day it took me about 10 minutes of studying buttons to figure out how to make the stereo play music and not the TV sound.

Children and grandchildren are God's gift for many reasons.

Elliotsgreatgrandma 12-17-2010 11:10 AM

That was wonderful I loved every minute. I have a sinus infection and am home feeling sorry for my self and you came along and brightened my day. Thanks again. Gail

I saw this a few days ago on a daily mailing that I receive. I have to say I shed a few tears as well! Handel was an inspired artist!

No we won't forget. No matter how hard they try, they cannot hush the joy of Christians as they celebrate Christmas. I think we are beginning to push back.

If you type in youtube and when you get there, type in the search area this, you will find two very good views of it. "Quail Springs Mall Flash Mob" 12/11/10, there are two. one by Champton 90 taken from the top floor looking down on the food court. the other is by Mark Vo taken from a camera going through the crowd. My favorite is the first one. My DSIL mainly showed his wife and the girls, singing. hope this helps.
