I have had the pleasure of twice seeing Placido Domingo perform live -- once w/ the Three Tenors, and once while performing I Pagliacci. It was captivating!! I can't believe only one other person said ELVIS PRESLEY. He was the most fantastic singer ever - past and present company included. Still have posters of him all over my house even at 62 years old. Try as they might, there will never be another!!!
