In Sweden we celebrate Mother's day on the last Sunday of May.

2nd Sunday in May here in New Zealand

One is Mothering Sunday and the other is Mothers Day. Two separate days with the same intent, being nice to mothers. Mothering Sunday is older having started in England. Mothers Day started in USA at the begining of the 20th century. Mothering Sunday is often tied in with churches. and yes we celebrate on the 2nd sunday of may like Quilty kiwi said

Interesting the differing days for reminding ourselves to appreciate our mothers and fathers and their contribution to our lives.
