"Cars" was a big disappointment..first movie i have ever seen from pixar that i condsider a bomb..thumbs down. the kids will want to see it,of course. but nothing like the first one. it will be over the younger ones heads..for sure.
go see Rio or the penguin movie, much better!

Totally agree...just got back from seeing it...disappointment. :[

i will not even buy it later. :(

I don't think I will either. Too many guns and what's up with all the "drinks" in this one???? James Bond meets Mater and Lightning? kinda strange...

your right.you know..i saw a local guy on the news this morning..doing a review of this and a few other movies..
nd he gve it a thumbs down also..i told my husbnd.."what does he know..5 year olds are going to love it.."

the guy was right.

the best thing about it was the popcorn

just got back from seeing it and you all are right on. It was very disappointing. We took our grandson and he was bored.

We were really looking forward to this too!

Ugh ... hate to hear it's a disappointment. Cars (1) is one of my all-time favorite movies. I told DH when I first heard there was going to be a Cars 2 that they'd have a terrible time making it as good as the first one. :?

Skip that and see Mr.Popper's Penguins- my 10 yr old grandson [who is very picky about animated films anyway] loved Mr. Popper. Jim Cary did a great job in this.
