When you are chain piecing, and going at a good speed, you will find that the bobbin ran out 14 units ago.

You will never cut yourself on your rotary cutter unless it is a new blade.

When you mark a quilt, for quilting, with wash-out ink, it washes out of everything but the white areas.

When you enter your perfect quilt in a show, it will suddenly develop 'wonkies' when they hang it.

When you find the 'perfect' fabric to finish your quilt, you will be 2 inches short.
