My oldest daughter had a black and white one, he wasn't real smart, people that knew the breed thought he might have been inbred. He was pretty and only weighed about 20Lb.s or so. Your Jack is very pretty. I don't remember him shedding.

Love your Jack! My aunt and uncle used to raise them and I helped do the chores when I was there which was often. They had a pup who got hurt and she was also the runt so they couldn't sell her. They gave her to me when I was a kid. We named her Midget. She was the sweetest thing. My dad used to get up in the middle of the night and feed himself and Midget cheese! So when Mom would find it gone and ask Dad would say Midget opened the fridge and ate the cheese! LOL

She used to lick his hand when he was asleep on the couch so he would get up and give her a treat. She wasn't spoiled!! She was very shy tho. Alot of the Sheltie's tended toward being shy and didn't like loud noises. They are such a beautiful breed!

We have had two collies and they were wonderful dogs but decided to go to the Sheltie also and it was not a good experience. I think the dog was mental. He did some really strange things and didn't like anyone, he was a loner. They are great dogs but we got a stinker. I have a friend who has one that is 16 and he is a real sweetie.Yours look beautiful, enjoy him. We lost our Old English right before Christmas and we miss her so much.
