We have quite a few bears around this area my dog goes mad when he sees rabits so you can imagine what he did when he saw the bear I do love seeing them and they dont mean any harm just doing their thing and if we leave them alone they move on we do have alot of coyotes to I hear them at night. We have had a wolf here aswell

I had to look again, thought you might be from Colorada, Montana or out there somewhere, not Mass. I guess you have learned how to deal with him but sure be careful.

Good thing you and the dog were inside. They are beautiful but they're hungry and we're invading the animals territory. Sometimes down in Naples, Fl they have them running around. Sue

Wow! Looks like he knew just what he wanted. My boys (the donkeys) raid the bird feeder any chance they get.

They may be beautiful but I don't want to see any around here!! The raccoons, groundhogs, ground squirrels (now THERE"S a nuisance!) and coyotes are all I can deal with.

OMG here I've been complaining about coons & opossums raiding my bird feeders.

My neighbors keep telling me they see one on our property, but I haven't seen it yet. Hope I get to see it through a window before it sees me. LOL

Very cool! I'm in eastern PA and we have one strool through every once in a while. One time I told my DH that I thought a squirrel was stuck tin the bin we keep bird seed in.I could hear scrapping and rattling coming from the shed. He went out to check and I looked out the window to see if we forgot to close the cover. I saw the back end of what looked like a man in light brown overalls bending over the bin. "Now why would any one want to go in the seed bin like that?", I asked myself. OHHHHH! RUSSSSS, RUSSSS!!!!! IT'S A BEAR! As Russ rounded the corner of the house the bear looked up at him, stood there for a few moments and decided diner was over. Off he went into the woods. Our neighborhood likes to feed the birds and deer so Mr. Bear didn't have to go far to get dessert!
