My brother, who was my b-day gift a few years (39 yrs ago) sent me a gift for "our" birthday. A really nice 6 qt. crock pot. But I don't need it, we downsized....LOL So it will now turn into a Christmas present for our daughter Stacey. :) I am sure he won't mind.

What a nice gift. We are also downsizing but I've found I still use my 6qt crockpot a lot. I like to make soups and freeze half. (There's just me & DH here).

It is just my husband and I also, we went from a 6 qt. one to a 4 qt one and I have a smaller one just for beans.
