I left a Wednesday October 6th - drove to Florida- Boarded the ship Carnival Inspiration on October 9th and returned Thursday October 14th ,2010. The first couple days it was clear, sunny and nice--then Hurricane Paula blew up . Our ship was able to stay in front of her, but made for an interesting night :wink: LOL

But DH says "no more boats" after spending so much time on a Navy ship in the Pacific (he's Air Force...and we were assigned to an army base in Maryland...go figure) |
I would think a hurricane would make for an interesting night. I'm ready for another cruise.

Did you swim with the stingrays in Grand Caymen? That was fun when we went. We also went to Hell and back. So glad you were able to stay ahead of the storm and made it home safe. |

Yep... you HAVE been to hell and back :twisted: ROFLMBO The scenery is beautiful, you and that turtle was a bit of a surprise since you wouldn't swim with them LOL You surprised me :shock: I thought for sure it would be you and a cabanna boy, not a waiter :wink: :D:D:D |

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. I have been on a cruise and that one picture I walked down and got some sea shells the one that you can see the ship in the background. We went to Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and the Florida Keys. Was so much fun and want to go to Alaska one of these days on a cruise.

Looks like you had fun!! We went to Bermuda in a hurricane once. Cruises are wonderful, but the weather is unpredictable.
