My Childhood Is Truly Gone Now

I just found out that Alan Young (Wilbur Post) died. He was 96. I remember watching Mister Ed when I was just seven years old. I never got to meet him, but I will miss him greatly.

I remember mr. Ed. I wanted a talking horse so badly when i was about 3-4. He was so cool.

I was so jealous of my cousins. They had 2 foals when the show was on. They called the one Wilbur and the other Mr. Ed. they were pintos.

I was a big fan and had been watching recently on the odd TV channels. So clever how they got the horse to move it's lip. I hadn't heard he had been ill. Thanks for posting this.

That was my favorite shows when I was little. So sad.

Wasn't that a great show? Always loved it, and I Love Lucy, too. Ahh, no TV like that now....
