She told me that my 2 1/2 yr old grandson really likes the quilt that I made for him a couple of weeks ago. He takes it to the family room and lays it out carefully on the couch to lay on it.

He looks at the animals and circus people, naming them. He says, "My blankey", and "Mamaw". He knows that it came from me.

That is all the thanks I could ever ask for. :XD:

Don't you just love it when your plan works?! He'll always connect you and the quilt...so you'll always be with him!
Sweeeeeeeeet!

That's adorable, and it's the very best way a quilt could be appreciated.

That is just what it is all about!! To make a quilt, and have it loved . He will love it forever. And when he gets too big, you had better have another one ready LOL My grandson said, Ninie, my quilt won't cover all of me anymore, please make me another one. And , of course I did. LOL. No greater gift, that to have your quilt so loved.

Yup, that is what it is all about. Making something that is well loved, nothing better in the world.
