While in church this morning, our 6 year old DD got a little bored and started using her Etch A Sketch to make a "new quilt" as she put it. I told her the design was already taken but she should keep going. She might just be a quilt designer someday.

That looks like the log cabin quilt that I'm making...LOL!

Looks like she has been paying attention to someone. :-)

This is very cleaver for a six year old to relate to a quilt design. Children now a days amaze me!

I may keep this thread - it would be interesting to see if I can replicate her design. :)

The funny thing is that I've never made a Log Cabin before. I did make a Sampler Quilt with a few Log Cabin blocks thrown in but I didn't think she was paying much attention to it. She must've been paying more attention than I thought. :D

She has better skills with the etch a sketch than do I

She did a good job.
