Two weeks ago I asked for your help in naming my rescued deaf puppy. After some great suggestions I settled on the name of "Rocky" ( he is a fighter)( the dog that is) so far we are doing well with teaching him signs. He follows me everywhere and is eager to please me. I think we will do just well with the training he needs. thanks all of you for responding to my request and for all the encouragement you sent. here is an updated pic of him.

I have a deaf Jack Russell Terrier--Little Cindy-Lou Who--who's has been with me since she was 5 weeks old. She is now 8 1/2 years old. She doesn't know she is deaf and most of the time I don't either. Smart as a whip and so loving. She is a joy in my life. I have always been especially careful about not letting her get out except to the fenced yard. Since she cannot hear, the danger of being loose is great.

Congratulations on your new puppy and may you be as happy with him as I am with my little furbaby.....
