My first Grandchild
 

I was able to go visit my first grandchild, he was 2 weeks old when I got to meet him and a month old when I had to get get back home to work. I feel blessed to have been able to go see him, and enjoyed every minute with my daughter, son in law, and also got to visit with one of my sisters, 3 brothers and there family's. Of course I took him his first quilt from Grandma.

He is adorable. And has hair. Our kids never had hair. Grandkids are the best.

grands are indeed the BEST! my grandson is almost 4; got mad at his mum and told her he was going to Grandmas. lol we live 3 hrs away. so glad he didn't try to walk! love em

What a beautiful baby! and a awesome quilt! I have 7 grand kids all different ages and some I just adopted! We call them heart grandkids. In mho, there is nothing better than grandkids! The oldest is almost 18, she is a real sweatheart, already knows what she wants to be! The youngest, her baby sister just turned two!

You need to discover Skype if you haven't already, I could not live with out it as my oldest and youngest live in Seattle and I live in So Cal, so we Skype! I hope you have many wonderful times with that new baby boy! What a blessing~

Congratulations on the birth of your first grandchild. Isn't being a grandma the greatest? My first two grandchildren, both boys, were born this year, one August 8 and one September 7. Can't wait for Thanksgiving. Both boys will be here at the same time for the first time. :)

Congrats on your first grandson, the fun has begun. We have Logan, 23 months old now, and are expecting our 2nd grandchild (don't know the sex) in April.

What a joy Logan is, as we watch him while his Mom teaches at our high school. I feel 25 years younger, enjoy every minute of our time with him. It is so much fun with a grandchild, as you don't have the other pressures of being the parent, only the joy!

Friday, as Logan was playing with his Thomas trains, he called me, " Nana, I love you a whole bunch". (I always say that to him, never expecting him to return it!) My heart flipped!

We have 8 grandchildren , 3 great grandkids and one great on the way. She is due anytime now.
