There are so many comfy places for her in our house, but she has to be right on the project I am trying to cut out!

bee3 03-28-2015 12:00 PM

i think cats are attracted to creativity :)

Tartan 03-28-2015 01:08 PM

What a pretty brindled fur kitty! When a cat wants attention they find a way to get it.:D

quiltingcandy 03-28-2015 01:14 PM

She is just trying to join in the fun. Obviously it must be lots of fun or you wouldn't be playing with the fabric all the time. Or is she just trying to tell you, she is more fun than any of the fabric you have. It would be nice to be able to read their minds. (Or maybe not.)

ManiacQuilter2 03-28-2015 01:21 PM

She might have thought there was a mouse hiding under the fabric !!

nativetexan 03-28-2015 03:54 PM

Ha, ha. I think she wants you to stop awhile!

lynnie 03-28-2015 04:01 PM

Darling outfits made all the better by your helper! She just wants you to know she's the ALPHA cat and that you should be paying more attention to HER!

Cute little fur baby....

oldtnquiltinglady 03-29-2015 07:27 AM

She is precious--and that look in her eye is exactly what I get when I get ready to start a new project. When I am working here in the house, I turn my quilt upside down (the white side up) to put my work on, showing it off as I progress on it, and she gets really aggravated and vocal--she hates the slick side--so she will lay down right in the middle of my spread-out for viewing work. I have learned to see around the cat to get the idea of what the quilt is going to look like. Mine is named Patticake--what's yours?

lorimax5859 03-29-2015 07:44 AM

What a cute picture. Gotta love them!

lorimax5859 03-29-2015 07:45 AM

Absolutely beautiful dresses!!

luvstoquilt 03-29-2015 08:51 AM

My cat does the same thing! I think he loves fabric as much as I do!!!

llong0233 03-29-2015 09:47 AM

Comfy is one thing...being with the one she owns is another. She's a sweetie. Thanks for showing her to us.

Bueniebabe 03-29-2015 11:13 AM

she is beautiful

Latrinka 03-29-2015 11:59 AM

She is sooo cute, I think she's just thinking this is some really pretty fabric and I want it! LOL! Cute outfits!

She heard you say it needed to be gently pressed....lol!

Caswews 03-29-2015 06:53 PM

Of course that is the way Monkey Man is when I am sewing. That cat has to be right there on my lap watching what I am doing or on the pattern pieces..

Rose_P 03-29-2015 08:31 PM

My kitties want to help, too, but I'm so distractable, I'm afraid I'd lop my fingers off with the rotary cutter if I have that kind of help! Another thing they do whenever they get into the sewing room is pull the pins off the magnetic pin holder. I guess I should have realized that would happen when I bought the ones with little butterflies on top. In any case, I have to keep my cats out of there because one of them tries to eat thread, and that can be fatal to a cat.

In the second picture it looks to me as if beautiful Ms Kitty is saying, "When are you going to make me one of those adorable little outfits?!"

My fur baby, Ida, is the picture on my avatar. She likes to nap by the computer until I sew and then she helps in the sewing room.

Barbshobbies 03-30-2015 06:11 AM

She thinks she is helping you!

Jingle 03-30-2015 07:19 AM

Very pretty helper. Years ago I had a cat like that. When the girls were playing a board game on the floor, she would come and lay in the middle of it. Of course she messed up the pieces. We just thought she was being a pest.

tlpa 03-30-2015 09:08 AM

Yep, my cat does the same thing!

quiltstringz 03-30-2015 09:44 AM

I think that cats and dogs are very attracted to fabric and quilts!!!! My theory is that they smell us on it and they just love us so much

Mariposa 03-30-2015 09:45 AM

Inspector hard at work! :)

nwm50 03-30-2015 10:01 AM

Yep.....just like ours! I guess they figure we need their help in swatting away the little pieces cut out or keeping the mats warm! Lol

caspharm 03-30-2015 01:35 PM

Just helping, Mom! :)

Carol34446 03-30-2015 06:47 PM

She is helping and so pretty, love the material under her paw.
