I knew it was going to happen, she hadn't been acting right for the past week and this morning she's gone. Don't worry, it's not my pet, it's for my computer. I use a laptop, with a mouse attached. Now, I've heard the "I told you so" because at times the cord would get very tangled, I just can't fuction without her, I'll be at the store as soon as it opens.

I hate it when that happens (smile). At least you can get a new one right away instead of it happening on, say, the weekend when nothing is open. Happy shopping. Pay attention to the signs (smile).

Get a wireless one! I use a laptop and can't stand the touchpads. I bought a wireless mouse the same day I bought the laptop. It is wonderful not to have to deal with the cords.

And for the record - when I saw the title I DID think it might be your pet.

Try a wireless, that way no wires to tangle.

If you get a wireless, remember to get loads of batteries ... the batteries don't last long when you click a lot .. like on QB ...! :)

I don't use the touchpad if I can help it. It seems to have a mind of it's own. :)
I have a trackball - don't have to hunt for misplaced mousepad.

I was thinking about a wireless, but, since I'm on here so much, I'd be spending $ on batteries, instead of fabric. So I thought, I'd be a good girl and wrap the cord so it isn't so long. Mousie did have a good life, lived to the old age of 4 years, was with me when I found this board, got to see beautiful quilts, helped me make new friends, we learned so much about quilting together, sorry to she her go, but she needs to be replaced now! This touchpad is driving me batty.

I understand the wireless mice are wonderful.

I had to go and buy a mouse yesterday and a mouse with a cord seems to be extinct. I was in a large Saples store and couldn't find even one. I ended up with a cordless mouse on sale for $19.99 and really couldn't find any cheaper.

My mouse has a switch so I can turn it off when I'm not using it. The batteries last a lot longer if you just turn it off before you go to bed. :)
