I studied business administration and received my associate's degree. Can you believe it? At the age of 47!

Congrats. I got my Associates at 47 too. Went on for the 4 year but the local State University does not allow part time students in their school of business so I went with the On line State University (I can't afford a private school). I hated on line learning. HATED it. Oh did I mention that I HATED it? I gave it a chance, 3 semesters worth part time (a total of 6 more classes). It just about killed me. I stressed over it, still maintained my GPA but it was so not worth it. I spent so much time stressing over assignments I retained nothing from the classes. I decided I would rather spend my free time quilting and money for classes on fabric so I decided last semester to not go back.

I have thought about going for a four-year degree but not sure because of the expense and time taken away from my family. I feel like they have been without me enough, at least for awhile. The state budget didn't allow for me to receive my educational raise this year which was a bummer, but the way jobs are now, I am happy to have a job.
