My folks had one and it was a odd green color.
I too remember the push buttons.

Thanks for the memories.
If she were my car, I would name her Memories.

Blessings to you and may all your travels be safe ones.

Sandi

I am thinking cherry bomb. Wasn't there a song during that era, Sherry Baby? That might be appropriate.

3TreeFrog 04-27-2011 06:25 AM

She's a beaute!

oma66 04-27-2011 06:26 AM

Awesome Ride!

Nice car! My first car was a 1962 Valiant. I bought it from My Great Aunt and Uncle in 1971 for $250.00. Had it till 1978, when we needed a bigger car cause we were having a baby. It was a mint green and I loved that car, except it was a stick and I didn't do well with it, so when I got married in 1974, my DH drove it all the time.

I like the name Velma. I have a hot rod that is a 1971 Dodge Challenger. She is my baby!

jbrother 04-27-2011 10:13 AM

I think she looks like a Margie.

ChubbyBunny 04-27-2011 10:40 AM

I LOVE old cars!!! I would name her Ruby. What a beauty.

Barbm 04-27-2011 11:08 AM

I had a Trans Am that was real red, I named her "cop magnet". I thought of Ruby, but she doesn't look Ruby, she's more true red. Reminds me of Marilyn Monroe's lipstick- how about Marilyn?

My car doesn't have a name. I don't get attached to them to name them.

P.S. Wish you were closer, love to go to some new shows and cruises.

fairydawn 04-27-2011 12:07 PM

Nice wheels!!! I think she deserves to be called Ruby.

clarac 04-27-2011 12:31 PM

aggiebears 04-27-2011 02:41 PM

How about RUBY.

Yooper32 04-27-2011 03:34 PM

My first thought was "'Mater", now don't go throwing rotten 'maters at me, it was the color that got me into trouble. She's a real beauty and that spare cover on the back is a real touch of class. Maybe Valentina.

pab58 04-27-2011 03:42 PM

Fantastic!!! You need to go on a road trip to Michigan and join the others in the "Woodward Dream Cruise"!!!!!  It's one terrific event!!! Lots and lots of fabulous cars!
