Someday Im going to learn to paint or draw on fabric to enhance my quilts, but right now they are 2 seperate hobbies.
Ive tried landscape quilts and thats about the only way to get my artistic side to really come out with my fingers, but they turn out ugly so far. These are a few of my drawings though, I hope to combine the two skills better someday. Ideas are appreciated. |
There is a place called Spoonflower on the web that you can send your art to and have it printed on fabric. That would make it easy to personalize your quilts with your art. You are a very good artist. Thanks for sharing your work.

Very nice. I always wished I could draw and sing. You are very talented.

Lovely sketches.

You have a wonderful talent and I think you should experiment with some fabric painting. Check Dharma Trading Co. site for different paints available. Also, crayons work really well. Iron your fabric to some freezer paper to stabilize it, draw your picture and then shade with some paint or crayons. You are going to fall in love with the possibilities.
