Wow,such great detail!! You do a great job.I love pictures that are different and show close ups. That wasp one is really neat.

stitchinwitch 11-15-2010 04:36 AM

Oh PLEASE keep sharing with us. The front of your subject is ultra clear, and then fades to the back - I really really like that.

grammiepamie 11-15-2010 07:32 AM

Yea Ronna!!!!Your pictures belong in National Geographic Magazine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

amandasgramma 11-15-2010 07:41 AM

clem55 11-15-2010 08:00 AM

Do you understand that we all loved the pictures and want to see lots more??!!

Aurora 11-15-2010 08:40 AM

I took these on a nature walk with my Garden Club. You would never catch me doing this in a bed of Poison Ivy. Okay, you would never ever CATCH me doing this.

HaHa...knowing me I'd be in it trying to catch something and not realize where I was until too late. I don't think I'm sensitive to it anyway. Its all over my yard.

Fortunately, I was on a blacktop path and just happened to look down.

Your pictures are wonderful.

Roberta 11-15-2010 09:57 AM

You truly have an artist's eye for beauty. Thanks for sharing these with us all.

LogCabinLady 11-15-2010 04:20 PM

Beautiful!!! I especially love the sunflowers. I told my husband that when I die the only flowers on my casket should be sunflowers and wild flowers. This is an amazing picture.

trolleystation 11-15-2010 04:36 PM

Love your pictures. Every morning I look out my kitchen windows to see what is different from the day before. The good Lord puts so many wonderful out-of-the-ordinary things there, if only we take the time to look for them. The picture of the cobweb is my favorite.

nonnie 11-15-2010 04:44 PM

Awesome job, you do great photography.

I love your kind of photography. Your photos are perfect and we love seeing them. I bought a Canon Rebel and have been trying to learn how to use it. Maybe someday I can get shots like that. Practice practice practice
I really enjoy working with photoshop with my photos too. Here is one example; of my Mom and step Dad taken on a beach here in Alaska. I took out all the dip netters and spruced the photo up.

mountain deb 11-15-2010 05:45 PM

Pictures not only reflect a moment in time, but also reflect the photograhers soul. Both very beautiful. Thank you!

Dani 11-15-2010 05:55 PM

OMG!!! I love your photos...especially the schowly (sp?) seed pod on the conifer.

You are so very talented!!!

kbs 11-15-2010 05:58 PM

These are great. Something that we hardly notice makes a beautiful picture. We need to pay closer attention.

sherriequilts 11-15-2010 06:02 PM

Love the blue bug's face!

What a great picture! A treasured memory for you. I found that the trick for alot of pictures is close up close up close up.

lnikkers52 11-15-2010 06:21 PM

wish I had your talent , very nice

Va Quilter 11-15-2010 07:45 PM

wow nice shots! I've never seen a blue bug like that! Is there a lot like that in your area?

catrancher 11-15-2010 08:13 PM

I love photography too. It forces me to pay attention to the beauty around me. I think of it as "visual highlighting."

neeng 11-15-2010 08:19 PM

Love the lighting on the 'wild flowers' photo of the black-eyed susan... beautiful shot!

I keep thinking I'll use some in an art quilt some day!! :D :D
Here's an example!

This photo would make a gorgeous quilt, the colour balance is wonderful. I hope you go ahead with it...Colleen

fluffyme02 11-15-2010 08:30 PM

I love ALL your pictures. Nature is the closest way I get to God. Don't stop. I have never seen a blue bug like that before. Keep them up!!!!

Beautiful pictures.

madamekelly 11-16-2010 10:46 PM

You could sell your work to nature magazines!

Naturalmama 11-16-2010 10:57 PM

Absolutely gorgeous pictures! You should sell them - seriously!!! And that blue bug is beautiful! He kind of looks like a dragonfly without his wings!

I would like to say yes...but this is the only one I've ever seen. Ansel Adams said one time..."...sometimes I just show in time when God wants me to push the shutter." I think of alot of my pictures like that..right place right time. It helps keep me humble and grounded. The world is a much bigger place than we pay attention to most days~and we are such a very small part of it.
