my quilts on display
 

I had a lady from the Kalona museum, call me. She ask me if I still quilt and if I have quilts. I said YES. She ask me if I would be interested in displaying some of my quilts at the museum. I ask her will there be other quilts going to be displayed. She said no. They are displaying different items in the museum. Old/attic thread spool holders. Some old sewing machines. And what else I cant remember. She told me she will let me know when. She did say this, it will be from July to Nov. Don-isewman

Congratulations, Don--a well-deserved honor! I would check on the security level for your quilts, maybe consider a chip somewhere? I recall a Mar-mitsvah quilt stolen from a display and, despite the family's proof of ownership, the thief blackmailed them and they had to pay thousands to get the quilt back.
