Kitsie 07-14-2010 12:38 PM

Just trying it out!

Yeah!

How to change the color......................

When you click in the 'change color box' a little window opens up. On the right side of that window you can scroll up or down to see different colors. When you click on a color in the window, you will see that the little box changed colors and that is the color of your font. Play around with it until you get what you want.

I have done that, but the darn box stays black. The preview doesn't change color either. I am stumped!

So did I about 20 times but it stayed black. I guess I'll stay withl that color because I'm frustrated.

Joeysnana 07-15-2010 06:19 AM

me too, Teri. I kept clicking but it just stayed black. No color. Today I have other problems. I am trying to make continuous binding and can't get the strips even after I join them. Good thing I love quilting, because it is darn frustrating!

Nana2Sew 07-15-2010 06:38 AM

Just testing....and it worked.

Joeysnana 07-15-2010 09:34 AM

Still trying to get it right.

Joeysnana 07-15-2010 09:35 AM

Luckynumber7 07-15-2010 09:41 AM

I think it's font #44.

Sharon, I think it is the fourth button on the top that has the heart. Just keep clicking on the numbered categories but I am pretty sure it is the fourth category. If you need more help PM me.

som 07-15-2010 02:39 PM

thank you

Joeysnana 07-15-2010 04:53 PM

Yeah for me!! And it only took me 27 hours to get it right! Now I can get back to trying to make continuous fold binding. Thanks everyone!

lazyquilter 07-15-2010 05:31 PM

oh great! I have a name and I'm thrilled. Where is it? stored in my document folder with NO idea how to get it anywhere at all. I tried moving it to my face book, but it said application running. Not a clue what that meant.. tried e-mail.. nope.. forget copy and patse . ///I failed that in the first grade. Oh well, my name is my name is my name, plain and simple... It's very humilating to be surrounded by Rhodes Scholars when I am still stuck in elementary school when it comes to this tye of stuff. Oh well, I head a binding calling my name so I better get back in there and finish it for the evening. And then BOTH baby quilts are done and tomorrow I can throw them in the cold wash with a dye catcher, rinse in something that smells wonderful and when draw, wrap and deliver. And I only had many, many other things i want to do with at least one for me.

Ok, how did you get it in your profile?

Go to this link:
http://www.mylivesignature.com/mls_wizard1_1.php
and follow the signature wizard instructions.
Once you get what you want, then choose 'want to use this signature'
then choose the 'generate BB code', then 'generate code for my hand written signature'. When the code is created, highlight it and copy it to the signature spot in your profile

I am computer savy and this wasn't easy for me. I didn't have a problem going through the steps but then I didn't know what to do. Your information in this update did it for me.
Thank you.

grammynan 07-18-2010 07:17 AM

Checking to see if it worked!!

Grinster 07-18-2010 07:19 AM

I got the signature but couldn't change the color. Any tips? Can we edit this or do I need to start over?

grammynan 07-18-2010 07:30 AM

On the color block in the lower left hand corner is a cross. Move the cross to the color you want within the square. You should see the preview change color.

belmer 07-18-2010 08:39 AM
