I love how it frames your house.

Oh, that's so pretty! Thank you for sharing. :)

Virginia Creeper can cause a rash and itching on some people. In the South it is considered a weed.

That is beautiful! I would love to have a vine growing on my house but I suppose the cows wouldn't leave it alone.

Joset 09-04-2014 04:47 AM

oh so pretty

calla 09-04-2014 05:29 AM

How pretty, I've not seen that or didn't know it here in Michigan

Nanoo 09-04-2014 07:29 AM

Absolutely beautiful. It is just beginning to turn red in central Arkansas.

Kitsie 09-04-2014 11:52 AM

And that look like the roof of a wonderful garden room!

madamekelly 09-04-2014 01:40 PM

It is gorgeous but don't you worry about the plant damaging your home?

QUILTNMO 09-04-2014 02:30 PM

very pretty!!!

grandmahoney 09-05-2014 12:44 AM

Very beautiful. But this is one plant some people can be allergic to. I am one of them. Its just like getting in to poison ivy for me. So be careful of this vine.

Busy Quilter 09-05-2014 05:53 AM

Hope all is sealed up good and tight. My SIL had an envision of lady bugs from the growth of a plant on the outside!!

I live close to Damascus, Va close to the world to famous beautiful Virginia Creeper Trail nestled in the mountains!
Honey Suckle is a weed too but very beautiful too!

roserips 09-05-2014 01:35 PM

Wow I love the colors of Autumn.

Jingle 09-08-2014 01:35 PM

It is beautiful but not innocent. It will climb anywhere and everywhere. It is a bad pest.

Yes it can and will cause considerable damage to a home and it's foundation.

newjeepgreen 09-20-2014 08:14 AM

We make sure it is well pruned each year. Has never given us any cause for concern and yes it looks absolutely beautiful from that garden room.

quiltjoey 09-20-2014 06:36 PM

Being a Master Gardener, I just love your plant and never saw a red Virginia Creeper. Here in SC, it's considered a weed that can grow like wild fire, so we just pull it out of the flower beds, garden, and off the fences!!
Yours is special! Beauty comes in many ways. Thanks for sharing.
