Have read with much enjoyment about all the wonderful older machines you gals and guys have, and can sit with enjoyment and read how much you love them. I have a 301A Singer machine that I bought at an auction for $6.00 and it had not even had a spool of thread sewn thru it. The gentleman told me he got it for his wife and then she got sick and died before even using it to make anything. I felt sorry for him as he was really missing his wife and was glad the machine was going to a good home. I also have 2 of the 15-91 Singer, 2 66's, 2 99K's and several I haven;t even checked out make or model. I love the old ones, and since son was an auctioneer, he got most of these for me when no one would bid on them. None cost me over $10.00. Lucky me, right?

Yes, very lucky you. If my son was a auctioner I would be in sooooooo much trouble. I just can't seem to resist those old Singers.
