GiGi 09-23-2011 06:58 AM

Turned it over...too boring! GiGi

mojo11 09-23-2011 07:03 AM

Is my favorite show too. This episode was a little confusing to me too. I know it will get better.

Becky Mc 09-23-2011 07:22 AM

Second best show on tv the first is crimal minds. Will watch every tuesday night like clock work.

Mona Marie 09-23-2011 07:23 AM

love the show but went to a sew night at church so missed it. darn!

TacoMama 09-23-2011 07:29 AM

That's why I missed the show - went to a Bible study and hubby was supposed to start the VCR tape before he left to come. I was already in Athens because I babysit our youngest grandson and hubby forgot to start the taping. Sounds like I didn't miss a lot - just seeing Mark Harmon and DeNozo though is good enough even when plot is bad....

brendadawg 09-23-2011 07:40 AM

My favorite show also, but I'd watch an hour of just Mark Harmon sitting there. He's a favorite of mine. I agree with the slowness, and it seemed a bit "scattered" like they just could never quite get all their thoughts together when they were writing that episode.

I watch all those episodes when they're on during the day. I've seen some of them so many times that I think I know the words!

No such thing as too much Gibbs/Mark Harmon.

NCIS LA good also; but they're just totally different.

alwayslearning 09-23-2011 08:01 AM

The only episodes I have not seen are the very first two, which were on JAG before the show was spun off. They are my best background when I am quilting. Any other program, I eventually weary of, but not this. It is the most popular program on TV and did you notice how the Emmy awards took note of that? NOT!

GlitzyMe 09-23-2011 08:07 AM

Give it time......this team always comes thru. Michael Weatherly is really great at this type of acting.......the one he did in the episode where they rescued Ziva should have earned an Emmy nomination.

Have you seen the movie "I'll Remember April" he and Pam Dawber did? You can find it at Amazon.......just one of the nices movies I've ever seen.

bettysew 09-23-2011 08:24 AM

DH and I both love the show.

LoLo 09-23-2011 08:33 AM

I agree with catrancher and Joyce DeBacco, I had trouble following the first show. I'm a real fan and have watched all the reruns a number of times and will continue to do so.

scrappy2 09-23-2011 08:54 AM

Thought it was a little slow but still love it. Couple yrs ago I recorded it for DH (2nd shifter) & he's hooked so I record it plus NCIS LA every wk., love it too.

SydJus Nana 09-23-2011 08:55 AM

Love that show too. I just know that it will get better, back to what we are used to, as the season progresses.

Owllady 09-23-2011 09:15 AM

Yes, we watch the show and like it.

We also missed JAG when it went off the air and we missed the final show. I've watched and recorded a few reruns, but still haven't seen the finale. NCIS is one of our favs now.

Steady Stiching 09-23-2011 09:44 AM

Mark Harmon and me.....keep getting older...and better LOL

tutty 09-23-2011 10:09 AM

We love it too but havent' watched as yet . We tape and when we get the time it's the first to watch !

Anna.425 09-23-2011 10:13 AM

DH and I have different TV viewing habits but we meet in the middle on NCIS. He loves it, I love it and we enjoyed the opener.

NaomiTX 09-23-2011 10:30 AM

I am there with you on that one. I don't like E.J.

Jag and NCIS seem to be about the only shows my DH and I both really like to watch. I think we have seen every episode from both shows five times at least. We were a bit confused at the beginning of the show this week but then it kept getting clearer. We both picked up on the reporter being bogus but I cannot figure out why Gibbs didn't since he is always so good about his "gut". Around my house we do not do the head slap but we do like to say "What do you got?" even if it is terrible English. But darn and blast, I missed the opening show for the Mentalist!!!!!!!

quiltingme 09-23-2011 11:42 AM

Love NCIS & NCIS-LA; loved JAG, loved an earlier show about a naval station (starred Sela Ward), but can't remember the name!

quiltingme 09-23-2011 11:43 AM

Anyone watch Army Wives & The Good Wife - both good shows. IMHO

EdieClay 09-23-2011 11:47 AM

I love, love, love NCIS. I was so glad the new season was starting because I had all the other shows memorized since I had watched them so often. This was not their best show, but I trust the writers to sharpen up the writing. I love everyone of the main characters!

Same here. Still sorry that they killed Mike off last season tho.

eastermarie 09-23-2011 01:08 PM

Our very playful cat is named DiNozzo. (sp) He even likes to play fetch with a jingle ball. We watch NCIS, but were a little bewildered at the opening episode wondering which way it would go. Certainly not their best but we love the show.

msdayton 09-23-2011 01:25 PM

gibbs is hot!!!

Dena789 09-23-2011 01:29 PM

NCIS is one of my favorites. This weeks show was... ok, I guess. I've never been a fan of 'flashback' type shows. I'd rather see it all playing out going forward. It helped that I had just seen a rerun of the last show of last season not long ago.

Other shows I love... Criminal Minds, Law & Order SVU, The Mentalist, Numbers, Flashpoint... and there are a couple new ones this season that look like they may get added to the list too.

Looks like I might get lots of handwork done in front of the tv!

alwayslearning 09-23-2011 01:39 PM

I was sad when they took off Numbers.

I wouldn't mind if they got rid of Denozo. He often makes me sick to my stomach. I can't stand all of that arrogance. I know it's just a show, but unfortunately I know a few like that. Oh, well---the show must go on and it really is my favorice.

This is our very favorite show also. If for some reason we are not able to watch, the dvr is always set to record.
There were a lot of twists and turns this week, but, thankfully we had just seen a rerun of last seasons finale a couple of days ago. What's not to love. Great cast! And Mark Harmon is to drool for.

collady 09-23-2011 02:57 PM

I missed it. I am still trying to get the house back together after the lightning strike. I am looking forward to getting a chance to catch it on-line.

I found Tony hard to take to begin with. The arrogance is partially to cover up insecurities, but sometimes he is just too much. Since it is an ensemble cast, he is balanced by the others. They balance each other so well. I like the way the FBI guy tries to irritate him when he pronounces his name: something like --Di Note Zo.

skoshi 09-23-2011 03:15 PM

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mountain deb 09-23-2011 03:22 PM

I loved that show, BUT work 3-11 and do not get to watch it as often. Yea, I could tape it, but not inclined to do so. Actually if it came on in the am, I would watch it. Otherwise, I do not watch TV, except at work when I am in patients rooms and that is only for a minute or less, so I do not bother.

I agree. I think I might have missed the last couple of shows last season and I had no idea what was going on last night. I don't like it when shows have a continuing thread/plot if you miss an episode You don't have a clue. They need to go back to stand alone episodes

He's a Norwegian Elkhound, we did have a german shephard wolf mix, She was 14 yrs old , she passed away the day after we got home from our vacation, we waited almost a month couldn't take not having a dog to come home to
