I read in Family Circle ways to store everything. One good idea for our fabrics was to use empty luggage. Just tape a note atop stating the colors inside. I think this a good idea.

Sounds good. I have so much I have no place to keep it all.Think I should stop shopping?

Good idea.

I wouldn't have enough room to store all the luggage. And then again, if I had that much luggage I'd have no money to buy fabric. Guess I'll have to find another way to stash it.

what about the bags you suck the air out with the vaccum has anyone ever tried these and if so how did it work for them??

there was another topic yesterday that mentioned that these space bags leaked over time, do not retain seal tightly

Last weekend I showed my friend how to use the acid free boards from the Comic Book store. She has been folding all week and stacking in tall bookshelves. We bought light grey heavy window vinyl and attached it with Velcro. Keeps out dust and UV rays. Took 6 HUGE plastic bins to fill one bookcase. It is giving her so much more room,it's amazing how much less room fabric takes up when it is folded on these bolts.

Great tip! Thank you :D:D:D

Wow! One bookcase will hold that much? I think I seriously need to re-think my storage system. Are the comic store boards smaller than the fabric store bolt boards? I'm very interested to learn more, please!
