Need to hear from anyone with the NINJA super blender

I really want to purchase the Ninja super blender but I can't get a straight story on it. The video reviews I've seen don't really say how well it juices. I hear that it doesn't juice as well as the Vitamix. I'm hearing that there are little bits of fruit floating around but if you run it for longer will the juice be perfectly smooth? I would love to hear from anyone who owns one. I just can't afford a vitamix.

I couldn't find a Ninja super blender on Amazon. There are different models of the Ninja. My recommendation is to do a search on Amazon for Ninja blender and read the reviews on the one you are looking at purchasing. Having seen one at Sam's Club, I did this and found that it does not perform as well as my KitchenAid 3-speed blender (which is not a current model, so have no link for it). My KA blender really does pulverize fruits for smoothies. Years ago I had a metal Vitamix and really hated the amount of noise it produced -- sounded like an airplane in my kitchen! Maybe the newer models are better that way..... My KA is noisy but not intolerably so, like the Vitamix was.

A friend of mine swears by both her Vitamix and her Ninja bullet. The bullet isn't a juicer and will blend things so you still get some of the fiber in the pulp. Mine friend juices everyday and is really into healthy eating etc.

I can't vouch for its juicing capabilities, but it makes great slushies and smoothies.

If I fill mine too full it leaves little bits of fruit on the sides at the top - some times the top corner stuff doesn't mix - mine got put together wrong and the top got torn up a bit. I don't know how much the vitamix costs the ninja was about $100. It makes nice smoothies otherwise.

Just bought a Vitamix for my grandaughter for Christmas. She has used it everyday, making juice, (no pulp), pizza, smoothies, etc. We have a Ninja, which is okay, but nothing compares to the Vitamix. She will put spinach leaves, grapes, carrots, in with fresh or frozen fruits, and you would never know! No seeds, no pulp, and healthy! Ice Cream is frozen solid, and soup is hot due to the powerful motor. We had some leftover baked potatoes, added some cheeder cheese, and had the best HOT Potato Cheeder Soup! She is twelve, and loves cooking, so this was a great gift for her! Vitamix is costly, but it has a 25 yr warranty and is not just for smoothies. It does not have the many insert blades, just use the speed control. Ninja has to many blade inserts to keep up with.

I too have a vitamix and use it everyday. This thing has saved me money. I make almond milk, rice flour, soup, vegetable drinks of every kind imaginable. I freeze bits of veggies and fruit then blend in my drinks. After 6 1/2 yrs. of heavy use, my varible switch was acting wierd so I sent it in. They paid for the postage there and back and replaced all kinds of other things. I got it back after two weeks and it was just like new. Anyway they are a great company. Oh my, this sounds like a commercial. But one more thing, my grandkids come and beg me to make them my secret chocolate milk shake. I won't let them see me make it because I put veggies in it. Someday when they get older I might tell them!!!!

Love it! We just bought a Vitamix and I have every intention of getting something nutritious into my 17 year old!!!! Would you be willing to share your recipe here? Also anything that tastes like pizza but is healthy(???!!!) HAHA --- I think I'm kidding, but with Vitamix, you never know! lol

We bought the ninja for our daughter and took it back the next day. After almost 10 min of blending, our combo veg & fruit was still grainy and tasteless. Put it in the vitamix for 20 seconds, tasteful and smooth as always. Got her a blend tec instead and she loves it! Also noticed that the recipe book was mostly for fruit and chopping.
