Need help changing fonts from large to small!!

A few days ago, some one wrote on how to change fonts from small two large. Two ways were suggested. The first one was hitting CTRL + ALT and the + sign for larger and reverse two make letters smaller. I'm trying to change my e-mail letters two smaller but, everything I do, doesn't work. Would appreciate it very much if this information could be posted again. I'm sure I'm not alone on this matter. Thank you.

I clicked 'Start'...found the option that said Display panel and clicked it.
Then I followed the instructions found here.( see link). This is for Windows XP.
Yours might be a different setup.

in my upper tool bar to the far right is a ratchet icon, to the right of a star. put your cursor over it and see Zoom. go to that and change it to 150% or what ever you need.

What email program are you using? I have Microsoft Office. In the toolbar up above, I can go into "View", then "View Settings", "Other Settings", and then I get the option to change the font type and font size.

If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, holding the ctrl button on the keyboard and using the scroll wheel on the mouse will make your print smaller or larger.

Another method is to hold the ctrl key and push the + (plus) key for larger print or the - (minus) key for smaller print. You don't need to push the Alt key.

I have my font set at 150% all the time.
