Need suggestions
 

Since I have purchased a new mattress, I have several sheets that do not fit the new deep pocket mattress. I need some project suggestions about what I can do with these sheets. They are not 100% cotton, but combination. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I've used sheets for quilt backs - hard to needle though, so only when you'll machine quilt.

If you want to keep the sheets as sheets, you can add to the pocket depth, fairly easily. Just remove any elastic and add a "border" to the perimeter of the sheet. Sew a new casing and insert new elastic.

Great idea, wouldn't have thought of that probably. makes sense.

Great idea of turning old Queen sheets into the deeper pocket sheets. I have lots of old queen size and now will do this. thanks for the hint.
