So sorry!!!!!!

When I am hand quilting I regularly wind up with the needle under my thumb nail, but only about 1/4" at a time. Can't figure out how I am doing it.
Are you up to date on your tetanus shots? That sounds deep. |
Sorry to hear you did that. Hopefully it will heal quickly. Keep an eye out for infection. Good luck finishing your project.
If you haven't had a tetanus shot in 2 years, you may want to get updated. You can get a really nasty infection from a needle. Hope you heal quickly...
you might want to call your Doctor about that. seriously. good luck.
OMG! I am so sorry. I feel your pain!! It has to be bad!! Hope it feels better fast!
Owieeee! That sounds painful! Hope you can get back to quilting soon.
Here was my first reaction, HOPY COW that had to hurt. Hope it heals well.

I was using Joan's needle, a couple days before I broke one of those needles in half. This one also bent , like it is now curved. Those layers of material really get thick.

been there, done that on the same thing--petal play. I kept right on sewing (dumb me)...but ouch! and luckily, there was no blood on the piece. Joan Shay offers a special needle to prevent this kind of injury but I've never bought one...just keep trucking along with the risk of this injury. Hope your finger feels better soon.
