that has happen to me as well, thanks for the tip to look for needles, in fact just returned from Joann's and my new hand sewing betweens needle purchase is from Czech Republic.
|
it happened to me not long ago
|
I had a dog eat one of my hand sewing needles. It went all the through her until the very end and I do mean the end!!! I couldn't figure out why she couldn't go potty. The vet had to remove it and she was OK.

You are too tense! :-)

Try to find it! Did you look in the chair you were in? Those small needle pieces can enter your blood stream if you step on it barefoot. Don't know if that is true but that is what I have been told all my 62 years.

happens to me a lot when hand quilting AND I have even worn a hole in the top of a metal thimble!!

Have had it happen...check between the layers of the quilt,,,squishing the material CAREFULLY in your hand.
|
I've had them snap on me! Lucky you waited until you were 64!! :D

I was hand sewing the binding on a quilt. Not difficult to pull the thread thru. The needle just SNAPPED in two in my fingers. @@ Oh, well. Learn something new ------------or do something new-----------every day! |
